Billing questions

What happens if I exceed my included minutes?

Additional minutes are automatically charged at your plan rate: $0.22/min (Starter), $0.18/min (Business) or $0.12/min (Enterprise). You can also buy additional minute packs before running out.

Can I change plans at any time?

Yes. You can upgrade immediately with a prorated charge for the current cycle. To downgrade, the change takes effect on the next billing cycle.

Is billing per agent or per call?

Billing is per minute of call consumed, not per agent. Your agents can handle multiple simultaneous calls within your plan's minute limit.

How does annual billing work?

With the annual plan you pay 12 months upfront with a 20% discount. You receive a single invoice at the start of the period. If you cancel early, there is no refund for unused months.

Are there charges for failed or very short calls?

Only connected calls of more than 10 seconds are billed. Failed, busy or unanswered calls do not generate minute charges. The Twilio charge for the phone number is separate.
